Sponsored by First Community Bank and BHP Billiton, The Child Safety Center is hosting it's first annual Celebration of Survival benefit with Elizabeth Smart as the guest speaker. The abduction of Elizabeth Smart was one of the most followed child abduction cases of our time. Elizabeth was abducted on June 5, 2002, and was held captive for 9 months where she endured repeated abuse. Mrs. Smart's life now is a daily demonstration that it is possible to overcome extreme adversity, by not allowing your past to dictate your life's future. Each year The Child Safety Center serves over 200 abused children. It is the center's mission to restore hope and healing to these young victims. We hope you will join us on this special evening...as we celebrate the survivors of childhood abuse within our communities.
Mrs. Smart's presentation will be held in the Benson Auditorium on the campus of Harding University in Searcy, AR. from 7:30pm - 9:00pm on Tuesday September 16th. For questions please email us or call 501-278-9321. There will be no assigned seating at the auditorium and tickets must be presented for admittance. No refunds will given on any purchased tickets.
